Providing positivity for students is a key component for students developing self-esteem, self-worth and self-confidence to be successful in school. It allows the student to gain positive reinforcement from their teachers, parents and peers throughout the school year. It also provides an avenue for parents to receive positive feedback about their child.

The goal of the Positivity Journal is that teachers, parent(s) and another student are encouraged to write about something that the student has done that they are proud of, accomplished or are working on. This can be repeated every week, two weeks or month.

This journal can be altered to fit the needs of your classroom and individual students.
